WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?

The ideas and theories we have about the topics on this site are vast.  People have discussed, debated and argued about them for centuries.

These should never be topics that divide us.  If anything, they should bring us closer together in a continual effort to research and study scripture while seeking answers.

At the end of the day, the only constant, the only truth, is Christ. Many believe there are multiple avenues to God. There is NOT.  There is only one path – through JESUS CHRIST.  He is the only way and the only truth.  Being a 'good person' or belonging to a particular religion, denomination or movement won't get you access to God or to heaven.  You may disagree with this and that's ok.

In John 14:6, Jesus tells Thomas that “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Aside from the topics on this site, what do you believe about Christ? That’s what really matters.

We hope this site has sparked your curiosity to pursue these topics, Jesus and scripture further. He knows you. He sees you.  He wants you to be a member of his adopted family for eternity.

There’s nothing you need to do other than to accept Him as your Savior.  There is no work, no action that will earn His favor.

Admit that you’re a sinner

We all screw up – we’re human and God know this.  However, we need to confess this to Him, admit that we sin.  By doing this, God forgives us and forgets our sins – we are made new from the inside out.  A clean slate!  It doesn’t matter what you’ve done.

1 John 1:9:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalm 103:10-12:

10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and that God raised Jesus from the dead.

Then, call on the name of the LordHe will hear you. He will always hear you.

Romans 8:38-39:

38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You can talk with God anytime from anywhere. In fact, He wants to hear from you always - just as you would interact with a friend or member of your family on a daily basis.
